DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated:

Downloaderize respects intellectual property rights and responds to notices of alleged infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws, for this website and for each of our tools.

Important: our tools don’t host content

Our download tools don’t store or host any videos, music or photos: files are fetched on request from public content and passed straight to the visitor without being stored. On valid notice, the tool concerned blocks the identified content from being opened or downloaded through it. To have content removed from a platform itself, use that platform’s own copyright complaint process.

Filing a takedown notice

Send a written notice to our designated agent at dmca@downloaderize.com (or via our contact form using the “Copyright / DMCA” topic) that includes:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
  3. which of our tools or pages is involved, and the link(s) of the content you want blocked;
  4. your name, address, telephone number and email address;
  5. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  6. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

Counter-notice

If you believe content was blocked by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address containing: your signature; identification of the blocked material; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was blocked by mistake; and your name, address, phone number and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. We may restore access after 10 business days unless the complainant notifies us that it has filed court action.

Content on this website

If you believe something published on this website itself (an article, image or other material) infringes your rights, send a notice as above identifying the page, and we will review and remove it where appropriate.

Repeat infringers

We may permanently block users or IP addresses that repeatedly use our tools to infringe copyright.

Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
